Summer Glau, an American actress, is famous for her performances in the roles of River Tam and Cameron in Firefly. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Apart from that, she's starred in the TV shows The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow and Sequestered as well as guest-starred in the shows Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Hawaii Five-0. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the youngest child born to Marcela Quintanilla. When Selena was eight, she started her career as a member of a band formed by her dad. The group was comprised of Selena and her older siblings Abraham junior who played base guitar and the sister Suzette playing drums and Selena was the singer of the group. Selena Y Los Dino, the band she performed with was named Selena Y Los Dino. They also performed at wedding fairs as and in eating places. Selena didn't have a great growing up as the group required an extensive amount of time. Their father Abraham was determined to encourage his children and make them passionate musicians. Abraham senior was a member of Los Dinos, the band that started it all. Selena Y Los Dinos began in the year 1981 when they formed. It was Quintanilla's family's primary business venture and source of income. Quintanillas were determined regardless of initial financial difficulties to become an extremely popular group. They would see their patience pay back in the mid 1980's as Selena Y Los Dinos gained popularity in the west states. Selena was awarded Female Vocalist and Performer during the Tejano Music Awards in 1986. Selena Y Los Dinos continued to receive awards of the Tejano music awards as well as gaining popularity and recognition. Numerous Spanish programming, such as El Show De Johnny Canales every day in Domingo (Saturday Night Gigante) and El Show De Johnny Canales always on Sundays were featured.
